MAMMY’S

Nadezhda Suvorova, a teacher at a kindergarten, learns that the local authority has designated the building unsafe. It soon becomes apparent that no one intends to carry out any repairs. Instead the kindergarten is seized in a criminal ‘raid’, organized by a local oligarch, Abakumov. Suvorov is incensed at this, blockades the entrance and announces that she will speak only to the mayor! Our brave teacher is assisted by five desperate mothers and one grandmother – Klavdia Konyaeva. These weak women, who have risen up against the cruel world of men, are opposed by local workers, a police inspector, a police unit, a corrupt lawyer and the oligarch Abakumov. However, the arsenal of these ‘defenders of the fortress’ consists only of some toy pistols, a can of fruit juice and a mobile telephone. But also the love for their children. That after all is the strongest weapon!
